Stefanis Alexandres apprenticed eight years for metal arts and crafts in the traditional ways of the old world as guided through the organized guilds in Athens, Greece. In 1974 opened his first studio in Athens Greece. Stefan moved to the United States in 1988 with his wife and his daughter. Currently he teaches jewelry at Crealde School of Art, Winter Park Florida. He received a United Arts of Central Florida individual artists award in 2007 and 2010.
